On Friday the 13th at 11 a.m. , under the blue skies and warm sunshine we started on our first all day outing for Houghton's Pond. Merrily we | Nadell acted as judge and awarded the following The Summer Day Camp open ed this year July 9th at th Y.M.H.A, with a registrati of two hundred and forty-si>l duoka and stuck to our buddie* and attendance close to two J after whi-.h,cooled off and ■two hundred throughout the } fbaling fit "to take it", we rode along in buses, cheering ar.d singing. Arrived> and witlrjl points: ; tne Zy Jacobs, our able life ^ua-c ttionj ^e took to the water,like r-sixt auckp an' This season the children ire weighed.measured and recced a-cordir.g to age into . irior, intermediate,and senior group . Ccme all you kiddies, Come gather aroun', 3. one and all, Frou all over the town, .a to the Day Camp, Thax plf.ee of great joy, Ccme evc.ry girl, And yes, every boy, \cs and outinge and mming there's too, Miking and riding and more ^.ngs for you. Then, in addition there's games to be played, &A those in the groups will have things to be made, inging and dancing for those in the play, nd geod times for those who -o 'way for the day (Jontinued in Column 3) Group Competition On Thursday, July 12 the first group competition was held in the auditorium cf the "Y".
