May 23, 1952 A meeting of the Coordinating Committee on Jewish Education,, representing the Hebrew Teachers College (ETC) and the Bureau of Jewish Education (BJE), was held Sunday afternoon, April 27, at the home of Judge Lewis Goldberg, 100 Willard Road, Brookllne. The following were presenti Dr. Benjamin J. Shevach Dr. Max 0. Berman Dean Eisig Silberschlag Leo Flax Judge Lewis Goldberg Manuel Berman Lewis H. Weinstein , Samuel Stohn- Mr. Isaac Seligson stated that the AJP, at the request of the HTC, voted that a survey on Jewish Education be conducted in the Greater Boston area. The question was raised whether it .was desirable that a professional survey be conducted, or whether the matter could be determined by the representatives of the two educational agencies affiliated with the AJP.
