In each instance the objective sought by the Administrative'Caeaaittea was accomplished. In addition, a letter was sent to Harold 0. ***** Publisher of the Boston Reoord, protesting one of John O'Donnell'a eelumns. 1'hia letter appeared in the Advocate as did Mr. Kern's eventual reply. Turning to tke discussion of the agenda for the November 30 meeting of the Cceneil, the Cossnittee arrived at a consensus that some sort of resolution should be passed by the Counoil regarding the letter sent out on behalf of Clarence Barnes over signatures of seventeen Jewish citirena. It was decided to bring up this matter at the November 30 meeting with a r eeu—enda.lon that the Public Relations Committee oonsider it and suggest aetioa. V-iti. furaber regard to the November 30 agenda, there was discussion of the matter' ef aeetitting additional organisations. It was deoided to call for discuseJiesj- ef this on November 30 with a recommendation that the Administrative Cfeaeaattee be i sked to name a sub-committee to tackle this problem. frith regard to the projected Deaember 4 meeting for a disouasion of fund appeals by suoh agenoiea as the National Conference of Christians and Jews sod ether non-sectarian agencies, it was deoided to ask Mr. Franois Barsdte for an evaluation of the NCCJ. -.
