Boston.Man Pleads Not Guilty to Assault on Everett Patrolman. Everett Women's Dispute to Be Aired on 24th. - A Melrose restauranteur, Mark L Flood, appeared before Judge Davis at court this morning on a charge of ''being a common victualcr, and refusing to supply food to a traveler prstranger, upon.request" arid upon a-plea of not guilty,'was ordered to be ready, for trial oh the 30th. This is the first tirhe tha't a com'pl-iint under this law has been brought into the local.court and perhaps in the State, and it will be watche'd with unusual interest. Complainant Maiden Man The complainant- Is a Maiden man, Hnrtoif Delcariho, 397'Bryant st: a .win- dow'Waabtx; veteran' of World. V.'aT Cme and having two sons In World War Two. It is' alleged that he:applied lor food last Friday' at eight am. and was refused. It Is. claimed hjf.vlhc. police that the complainant Is wellgs/ioiyn In Melrose, and -that he at one. tlrive laid the contract-.to wash the wtndows'Sft the Flodd place, but gave it 'up because ol 'the shortage of manpower/ The defendant pleaded hot gulltj) and has.retalned an attorney to present' his side' of the dispute. . Harry B Peary, North, Reading, no inspection sticker .on his auto. In Mai den was fined $5. Ralph D CefaU. Winchester, ho auto license^ In Maiden. $10'. Henry A Stevens. 36S Bryant st, vlolaton of'through way law, Maiden, was fined S'lO. David L Burke, Maiden, drunk, on file and ordered returned, to the state fanrr for violating his. parole. Afmes Sneed, Everett,. plfaded not guilty to a charge of assault on Anna Grsjv in a dispute In Everett and. will be tried on-the 24th. ' Vernon N Oahlstrom, 13 Garden st. surrendered' on an old drunk charge was given a suspended term, of one month. In .the house ol correction. . Morgan J Bre'rlhari, -104- Walnut st, surrendered on a drunk, charge, had ' case continued to next Oct. 3. carl'it Morton. Medlord, non support of nls wife and three children, was placed trial and the case was then continued to April 4. Wm E Gusson.
